Knee injuries and surgeries to deal with them

The knee is a complex joint that is made up of four different bones (femur, tibia, fibula and the patella) that can easily be damaged in a sports related injury. Fortunately, many knee injuries can be repaired with a non-invasive surgery, but sometimes an injury can require a surgical procedure.

There are various types of knee surgery methods out there, such as a total knee replacement, an ACL reconstruction and a knee arthroscopy. For more information about this, check out the Sport Science Orthopaedic Clinic's blog for detailed information.
